Kapuso actress Myrtle Sarrosa had her fair share of cheating experiences, making her relatable to Nagbabagang Luha, an upcoming series on GMA Network.
On July 22 while in the virtual press conference of the said show, Myrtle was asked if she had been cheated on.
According to the actress, although her ex-boyfriend did not confirm that there was indeed someone else, people were telling her that her bf has a “side chick”.
“Ako kasi personally, hindi man inamin sa akin ng loved one ko prior to the past, pero I’ve heard people na parang… I’ve heard it from someone else na sinabi sa’kin,” she revealed.
The actress admitted that upon hearing that her former partner was cheating on her, she got hurt. When she was told that she will play the part of Judy, that’s when she realized how trust can easily be broken.
“Do’n mo mararanasan na when someone cheats on you, sobrang sakit niya. When we got this project, tapos yung character kong si Judy may gano’ng experience, dun ko talaga na-realize na, ang hirap-hirap magbigay ng tiwala tapos ang dali lang siyang wasakin minsan.”
When it comes to cheating, Myrtle highlighted how it is one of the main reasons why a relationship does not work out. The actress pointed that when someone cheats, it destroys the trust that the couple has built over the years they have spent together.
“Cheating talaga is one of the things that ruins yung buong relationship n’yo. It takes so much time for our relationship to build, not just days, not just months but years.
“Tapos yung trust na fino-form ninyo.. and then sa isang pagkakamali lang, you shatter that trust, tapos ang hirap hirap ibalik,” she explained.
Myrtle, back in 2015, broke up with her first boyfriend, Senator Grace Poe’s son, Brian Poe Llamanzares.
Currently, the actress is part of the adaptation of the hit classic movie, Nagbabagang Luha. It stars Glaiza de Castro, Rayver Cruz, Mike Tan, Karenina Haniel, Claire Castro, and Gina Alajar.
It will also include Alan Paule, Archi Adamos, Myrtle Sarrosa, Royce Cabrera, Ralph Noriega, Karenina Haniel, Bryan Benedict, and Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Jaclyn Jose in a very special role.
Nagbabagang Luha will begin August 2, only on GMA Network.
