Kapuso star Marian Rivera, after being named as the most followed celebrity on facebook, promised her fans to go live on the said social media platform.
In her Instagram story on July 13, Rivera acknowledged the claim of dailypedia.net that she is the most followed celebrity as of July 2021.
“Awww salamat po,” Rivera wrote.
She then promised her 10.9 million followers on Instagram that she will go live on facebook soon.
She then added, “Kita kits.”
The wife of Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes has 25 million followers on facebook, which is no wonder as she became the most followed celebrity on the said social media platform.
Currently, the Kapuso Primetime Queen is on hiatus as she tends to her children, Zia and Sixto.
It is also her reason as to why she declined to play the role of Yaya Melody in the hit-Kapuso series First Yaya, eventually leading to Sanya Lopez clinching the role.
Though she is not into acting, the actress is hosting Tadhana, a drama anthology of the Kapuso Network every Saturday.
Rivera rose to prominence after starring in the Filipino adaptation of the hit Mexican series, Marimar back in 2007.
In 2008, she then became FHM Magazine’s Sexiest Woman. Aside from the award, shea also starred in GMA Network’s fantaserye, Dyesebel while she released her first dance music album, Marian Rivera Dance Hits.
That same year, Rivera also starred in the movies, My Bestfriend’s Girlfriend opposite Richard Gutierrez and One True Love with now-husband Dingdong Dantes.
Among the movies, she appeared in are Shake, Rattle & Roll X and Desperadas 2–both were Metro Manila Film Festival entries.
She then went on to be the lead role of the 2010 series Endless Loveand the romantic film You to Me are Everything.
In 2011, she headlined the historical drama fiction Amaya. Aside from the show, she also became part of the remake of the movie, Temptation Island.
She also appeared in Bong Revilla’s movie, Ang Panday 2.
In 2012, she starred in some shows such as My Beloved and Temptation of Wife. She also played a role in the sitcom Tweets for my Sweet, earning her two nominations as Best Actress in a Comedy Show at the 2012 PMPC Star Awards and 2013 Golden Screen TV Awards.
In 2014, she returned to heavy drama through her primetime show, Carmela. That same year, her long-time boyfriend back then, Dingdong Dantes, proposed to her during a live airing of the actress’s dance program. Later on, in the same year, the two got married.
Rivera made a comeback on Philippine television through the hit fantasy series, Encantadia in 2016. The fantasy series Super Ma’am in 2018 was her most recent series.
