Many speculations have arisen regarding Lovi Poe’s planning to leave the GMA Network after not renewing her contract.
The Kapuso actress was not in the country for more than two months to visit her boyfriend Monty Blencowe, and during that duration, no confirmation was heard from her whether she would be leaving the GMA Network for good.
In a face-to-face media conference for The Other Wife held in Botejyu Capital Commons by the Viva Films last July 5, the actress was asked if she will be staying with the GMA Network or transferring to ABS-CBN.
“Right now, it’s hard to say; Everything is under negotiations. I’ve just finished my show. We’re still having the conversation,” Poe confessed.
“It’s a hard thing to say, I think it’s best to keep it private because I want to respect both networks.
“Ako naman po kasi, I’m always open to working with anybody. To grow as an artist, I don’t think you’re supposed to box or keep yourself like just doing the same or working with the same people over and over again,” she added.
It seems that the management of Poe has negotiations with both of the networks. But the biggest question for Poe remains unanswered–to fight or flight?
