Former Kapamilya director, Frasco Mortiz made a harsh accusation to ABS-CBN after Bea Alonzo’s switch opened a lot of issues.
Mortiz on his Facebook post defended Alonzo’s transfer to GMA Network, pointing to how many people were mad about the actress’s going over to ABS-CBN‘s rival network.
In one of the comments, a netizen asked, “Grabe uso pa ang network kampihan ngayon? Lol.”
To which Mortiz made the claim that it was ABS-CBN who started it all.
“The sad part is network pa mismo ang pasimuno,” replied the director.
On his Twitter account, Mortiz explained that network wars should not be prioritized during this time of the pandemic.
He pointed that ABS-CBN and its supporters should be happy that Alonzo is continuing her career as an actress.
Ang dami-daming dapat problemahin inuuna pa ang network wars. 20 years ago pa nauso yan, ibahin niyo na ngayon.

In another tweet, Mortiz shared how he worked with ABS-CBN for almost 20 years. The director also let out some steam after hearing questions about loyalty and gratitude. For the director, he did give his all as a Kapamilya employee.
Yep, dun po ako galing, worked there for almost 20 years. We served wholeheartedly, we gave our all.

It is understandable for Mortiz to feel that way. He directed the kiddie gag show of ABS-CBN, Goin’ Bulilit for 14 years.
Unfortunately, it bid its farewell on August 4, 2019. And what’s worse, Mortiz revealed that despite directing the show for many years, receiving 17 awards, and yet, the Kapamilya Network did not even bother to have a proper send-off for the show.
14 years.

We may not be important to some, but we are important to those who matter. That’s YOU Kapamilya. Thank you!#GoodBabyeBulilit pic.twitter.com/rtOIdbmLK9— Frasco Mortiz (@Frasco_Mortiz) August 4, 2019
Now, Mortiz is in GMA Network and is directing its gag show, Bubble Gang”.
But for his rants about loyalty, and gratitude especially with Alonzo’s case, netizens explained to him what is wrong.
Yung paglipat ni bea it's not all about her leave but it is also about the project she abandoned.

A netizen also clarified to Mortiz that the ones who started the so-called ‘network wars’ were not from ABS-CBN. It was Twitter accounts not related nor associated with the Kapamilya Network in any way.

In terms of his feelings, a netizen understands how he felt after the Network invalidated him. However, in Alonzo’s case, after she rejected the project offered by ABS-CBN, it also resulted in Kapamilya employees losing their jobs.

A netizen even posted the supposed project of Alonzo which was canceled. Another Kapamilya supporter noted that the actress was the one who did not want to do the taping.

In another comment, the netizen pointed how Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil declined their talent fee being tripled out of “loyalty” to the Network.

A netizen also highlighted that the network gave in to Alonzo’s request to not shoot the now-shelved project. But then, the actress switched networks.
May project siyang iniwanan at naumpisahan na. Ayaw niya mag taping Kasi pandemic pinag bigyan siya Tapos lilipat pala. #ForeverKapamilya

Such replies coming from the netizens were reasonable given that Mortiz accused ABS-CBN of initiating network wars when he has no basis to prove it.
Now, his claim was edited to having Kapamilya employees, artists who started such wars.
“Mga taga-network daw pala, hindi po yung mismong network,” clarified Mortiz.
Still, it was not from ABS-CBN. As a netizen earlier clarified that the alternative accounts of ABS-CBN are not associated with the network in any way.
