Before signing the renewal of her contract on Wednesday, July 21, Kapuso talent Klea Pineda had reservations about whether she will be renewed or not.
In the virtual press conference after her contract signing, Pineda was very vocal about having second thoughts.
“S’yempre yung doubt nand’yan palagi lalo na sa panahon ngayon. Yung doubt hindi nawawala sa ‘kin yan.”
But even before signing the contract, she revealed that she considered every project as if it were her last.
“Iniisip ko lagi na kada show na binibigay sa’kin, last show ko na ‘yon. Yun ang iniisip ko, yun ang tinatak ko sa isip ko at sa puso ko,” she added.
This kind of reasoning is because she knew how show business works.
She explained: “Hindi naman forever ang show businesses. So parang p’wede mawala sa’yo ‘yan or p’wedeng mag-stay pa sa’yo ‘yan.”
Nevertheless, the Kapuso artist believes that she will remain in the industry as long as she gives the Network a reason to keep her.
“Ang nasa sa’kin lang, hangga’t pinapakita ko ang best ko sa bawat show na binibigay sa’kin, hangga’t binibigyan ko ng hustisya ang mga roles na binibigay at mga projects na nabibigay sa’kin, very confident naman ako na mabibigyan ko sila ng rason para ma-renew pa’ko,” she added.
Still, the young talent cannot hide her relief as she got renewed.Â
When asked if she was relieved about the good news, she responded, “Yes!”
Now that she remains a Kapuso, Pineda was over the moon, saying that she was happy she still has the opportunity to showcase her talent as a GMA artist.
“Sobrang saya ko, hindi mawawala ‘yon. Masayang-masaya ako. Dahil meron na naman akong maraming taon para mabigyan ng halaga ang ginagawa ko dito sa industriyang ito. At para mas maipakita ko pa ang talento na binigay sa’kin.
“Yung tiwala na binibigay sa’kin ng GMA ay malaking bagay para sa’kin. Kaya masayang-masaya ako na binibigyan pa rin nila ako ng pagkakataon na maibahagi ang talento na meron ako.”
Currently, Pineda is busy with her upcoming project, Never Say Goodbye. This would be her first lead role after spending six years in the industry. She is joined by Jak Roberto and Lauren Young in this Kapuso teleserye.
