Kim Chiu is all support for Xian Lim’s recent move to GMA Network and his pairing with Jennylyn Mercado for an upcoming series.
Love. Die. Repeat. is the working title of Lim’s first-ever series in GMA Network and team-up project with Mercado.
Lim celebrated his 32nd birthday on July 12, and it is reported that the lock-in taping for the series will start after his natal day.
The actor and his management, Viva Artists Agency, are happy about his bold decision to move to GMA Network.
Meanwhile, Chiu, his long-time girlfriend, will remain loyal to her home network, ABS-CBN, and will not consider transferring to other networks.
It was in 2008 when the singer-actor started his showbiz career in ABS-CBN. In January 2018, he moved to Viva Artists Agency, but he still continued doing shows in the Kapamilya network.
His last teleserye as a Kapamilya was the 2020 drama series Love Thy Woman wherein he worked with Chiu and Yam Concepcion.
He also had a hosting stint in TV5’s game show 1000 Heartbeats: Pintig Pinoy. It ended its first season on June 12. According to the producer of the show, they will have a second season before 2021 ends.
