Kiara Takahashi expressed her interest to work with Judy Ann Santos and Sylvia Sanchez after she admits wanting to try acting now.
“Interested ako ngayon sa acting. Acting din kasi sobrang…parang nafi-feel ko na sobrang mahal ko. If ever man na magkaron ako ng project na acting, parang sobrang magiging masaya ako,” revealed Kiara in an exclusive interview with LionhearTV on June 28.
Kiara, along with 39 other artists inked new contracts with ABS-CBN during its Star Magic’s Black Pen Day on June 19.
For the young talent, entering the acting scene is a new learning experience for her to grow as an artist.
“Kasi another new—and marami akong matutunan for sure. At yun ang gusto ko, ang marami pang matutunan when it comes to acting,” she added.
Moreover, Kiara somehow felt that she is loving acting and is hoping to get an opportunity to showcase her ability as an actress.
Kiara also revealed what kind of genre she’ll perfectly fit: drama. Since people know her as a dramatic type of person, the young artist thinks that this genre will suit her personality.
“Feeling ko lahat ng tao na kilala ako, masasabi na dramatic ako. Ang dami nang tao na nagsabi sa akin niyan. At totoo naman. Feeling ko marami akong paghuhugutan. So interested akong mag-drama,” Kiara thinks so.
However, the young artist knows what needs to be done in order to be a good actress. She will not focus on just one genre but will also explore others. Nevertheless, Kiara’s first option is to do drama.
“Although sa akin kasi, pag acting, masasabi mong magaling kang aktres—katulad ngayon sa industry natin, sobrang daming magagaling na aktres.
“And yung iba, hindi lang sila nasa isang focus na genre eh. Kumbaga masasabi mong magaling ka kapag kapag kaya mo yung iba-iba. Pero kung bibigyan man ako, interested ako sa mga iyakan scenes,” she pointed.
As drama really piqued her interest, Kiara admitted that there are a lot of excellent and talented Kapamilya artists. However, she dreams of working with only two people for now—Judy Ann Santos and Sylvia Sanchez.
“Pero kung meron akong gustong makatrabaho, si Ms. Judy Ann Santos, si Ms. Sylvia Sanchez. Grabe! Sobrang galing nila. Kahit nga sa teleserye ni Ms. Sylvia, grabe yung role niya talaga dun. At isa siya sa mga hinahangaan ko na mga aktres,” admired Kiara.
In the meantime, as a young artist and relatively new to the industry, Kiara is open to possibilities such as having a love team.
“Again, kasi siyempre baguhan lang ako. I am willing to try yung mga roles or mga possibilities as long as kaya ko. Open ako sa mga ganyan. Kung may mga katrabaho ako na mga aktor na magaling din, honored ako dun,” she explained.
For now, Kiara will have an upcoming acting job that she has yet to reveal. The young talent also plans to release more songs and do vlogging. Currently, she is hosting a digital show under Star Music called, Topsilog. It streams every Sunday and is available via Star Music’s YouTube channel and Facebook page; One Music Facebook page; and MORe Facebook page.
