The Clash Season 1 finalist Jong Madaliday has been targeted with fake news lately. Just this week, a Facebook page has shared that the singer and vlogger Jong Madaliday has already passed away.
The singer quickly refuted the allegations by posting a video on his Facebook account proving that he is still alive and kicking.
Another hoax announcement surfaced, addressing that Madaliday does not want to work with the award-winning actress Bea Alonzo.
The photo that was spreading contains Madaliday’s thoughts regarding being paired with Alonzo. It contains the message:
He strongly denied that he made the circulating statement that he does not want to be paired with Alonzo.
Madaliday just laughed off the false speculations and rumors. He clarified that he is not active on any of his social media accounts due to his hectic schedule, and shared that he is busy constructing his new house in North Cotabato, his hometown. He was deeply shocked at where this false information is coming from.
In the video he posted on his Facebook account, he clarified everything and warns everyone over the fake news that is rampant online:
Speechless ako, man, I’m still alive, alright?” the singer announced.
Jong Madaliday was the first runner-up during the first season of the singing competition The Clash in 2018.
