Kapuso actor Ervic Vijandre expressed his gratitude for his contract renewal amid the GMA Network’s selective streak in renewing their artists.
In the media conference for his contract renewal with GMA Network, Vijandre said he feels blessed with the opportunities he received with GMA Artist Center and the Kapuso Network.
He then noted how the network takes care of him, especially amid the lack of jobs during the pandemic.
“Wala na akong mahihiling pa. Sobrang alaga, sobrang blessed ako with GMA.
Vijandre expressed his interest in landing a lead role after his contract renewal.
“Syempre tao lang tayo di ba gusto natin lagi na to be better. May ma-achieve pa tayo greater than what we have. Syempre ganon ‘yung gusto ko sana.
“I hope mabigyan pa ako ng more than na binibigay sa akin. Pero kahit ano pa man. I’m very thankful. I’m very blessed and grateful sa GMA and sa GMA Artist Center sa lahat ng opportunity na binibigay nila.”
Vijandre then noted that he has no plans of transferring to other networks.
Vijandre’s career started during Survivor Philippines in 2010. His 11 years stay as a Kapuso gave him teleseryes such as Dangwa, Poor Señorita, Destined to be Yours, and Cain At Abel.
