Kapuso star Ervic Vijandre admitted that he’s willing to sacrifice his showbiz career for politics.
In the media conference for his contract renewal with GMA Network, Vijandre said he would sacrifice his projects from the Kapuso network if he ventures into politics, again.
“I have to sacrifice ‘yung mga trabaho na ibibigay, na iaano sa akin. Kaya siguro kausapin ko din ‘yung management. ‘Yung GMA artist center.
However, he clarified that he hasn’t come to a concrete decision on the matter.
Vijandre said he’s open to getting into politics again. He described politics as public service.
“‘Yung politics kasi open ako na anything na pwede kong magawa for the community. Parang, for me, it’s public service parang ganyan.
In 2013, Vijandre ran for the office of the 2nd district councilor of Taguig. Sadly, the Kapuso actor lost.
As for Vijandre’s career, he started during Survivor Philippines in 2010. His 11 years stay as a Kapuso gave him a spot on teleseryes such as Dangwa, Poor Señorita, Destined to be Yours, and Cain at Abel.
