ABS-CBN’s failure to renew its franchise in the previous year resulted in a mass retrenchment, and it made the network employees lost their jobs, indefinitely.
However, after a year, actor Carlo Aquino noticed that some of the Kapamilya employees who got affected by the network’s job cutback are slowly returning to the respective posts they left.
ABS-CBN’s partnership with the ZOE Broadcasting Network Incorporated made some of the former’s programs get broadcasted again through the A2Z channel.
It somehow gave hope to the retrenched Kapamilya employees.
“I’m grateful to ABS-CBN and sa opportunities na binibigay nila. Nakakatuwa, nakakabalik na ‘yung dating na-retrench. Isa lang ang ibig sabihin no’n, na medyo nakakabalik na ang ABS-CBN. So masaya din kami for ABS,” the actor shared his observation.
“Nag-start ako nine years old, so more than two decades na ako with Star Magic. Ever since, ‘yung pag-hone ng skills ko tapos tinuruan nila akong maging professional and responsible sa work. Siyempre sa buhay din, ‘yun ‘yung mga natutunan ko sa kanila,” he looked back on how he started with the network.
Through the aid of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, Aquino secured an exclusive contract star as a child actor that became his ticket stardom and established his career during his teenage years up to the present.
He had countless involvement television and movies projects. He got nominated in some award-giving bodies, where he won, too.
