Shaira Diaz could not hide her excitement now that her idol Bea Alonzo is a Kapuso.
“Si Bea! Idol ko talaga siya!” exclaimed the actress when asked who among the former Kapamilya talents she was most excited about.
During the media conference on July 7, Wednesday, the actress also revealed how she is trying to follow Alonzo’s career.
“Nakasama ko na siya once. And sobrang bait niya. At sabi ko, ‘sakto yung idol ko lumipat!’ Eh dito sa GMA kapag tinatanong kami kung sinong career ang gustong tahakin, sabi ko, ‘Bea. Bea Alonzo’,” she added.
Now that the former Kapamilya superstar is an official Kapuso, Diaz is extremely happy about it, hoping that one day, she gets the chance to work with Alonzo.
“So natuwa ako na nandito na siya. Sana makatrabaho ko siya.”
Alonzo signed a contract with GMA Network on July 1.
Other than the former Kapamilya actress, Diaz is also looking forward to working with another former Kapamilya superstar.
John Lloyd Cruz already signed a contract with Willie Revillame’s production firm, WBR Entertainment. With the actor closer to being a Kapuso, Diaz is also excited to get a chance to work with him on a project.
“At s’yempre kapag matuloy yung paglipat nung iba pa katulad ni John Lloyd Cruz, sana makatrabaho ko rin siya,” continued Diaz.
Other than Diaz, Kapuso actress LJ Reyes was anxious to see what these former Kapamilya stars can offer to the Kapuso Network.
“Somehow na-excite rin ako na parang ‘What are they gonna bring into the table?'” expressed Reyes on July 1.
Other than Reyes, Richard Yap, who transferred to GMA Network in December 2020, was glad to see that his former Kapamilya talents are finding work in the Kapuso Network.
“I’m happy that they are finding work here and that they’re being given the chance to work with us here,” said the actor in an interview for the Kapuso Father’s Day Special, June 17.
Meanwhile, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes invites former Kapamilya stars to be featured on his show, Amazing Earth.
“It would be an honor to have them in Amazing Earth para malaman yung kanilang greenside at sana mapaunlakan nila yung imbitasyon kapag nandito na sila.”
Besides Alonzo, Kapamilya stars Beauty Gonzales and Pokwang also made the switch to GMA Network.
