Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin continues to be an outspoken celebrity over various national issues.
She confessed she is vocal over numerous concerns because she is afraid of the consequences if she would ignore the cries for help from her fellow countrymen.
On Matteo Guidicelli’s podcast, MattRuns, Locsin shared her ideology on why she needs to speak and stand up for others.
She admitted it was her father that inspired her to be true to herself and fight for injustices.
Maraming bagay na mas importante bukod sa sarili mo,” she said.
The actress shared she is not afraid to voice out her opinions, especially if it concerns the welfare of the country.
Kaya mo i-ignore everything.
She speaks because she has a point to prove that fear drives people to stand for what is right and just.
It means may kinakatakutan ka kaya gusto mong ipaglaban. Natatakot kang maapi, natatakot kang ibahin ‘yung story mo ng ibang tao,” Locsin added.
