In an episode of the primetime drama series, Huwag Kang Mangamba aired on July 15, Andrea Brillantes had a blooper.
A dramatic scene turned into a funny one when Brillantes’s character, Mira, got caught smiling unknowingly.
She was supposed to be sleeping deeply due to her sickness.
She was being tended secretly in the room of her sister Joy, played by Francine Diaz. Barang (Sylvia Sanchez) and Pio (Seth Fedelin) were there in the room, helping to transfer the ailing Mira from her improvised shelter to Joy’s chamber without the rest of the family knowing.
As Joy opened the door, Barang and Pio hurriedly covered the sleeping Mira with a blanket and shielded themselves from the view of Agatha. In the following scene, Joy got chastised by Agatha for taking so long to unlock the door, and she lingered to give the girl extra instructions.
The suspenseful period came to a close with the furious Agatha releasing Joy.
Some eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Andrea smiled as the people in the room tried to cover her with the blanket. The actress may have failed to control her amusement during that scene.
The clip got posted on Tiktok and it garnered more than 100,000 likes as of this writing.
