It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda is once again worried after discovering that he is a stone former, with his kidneys forming crystals once again.
In a one-on-one talk with Ogie Diaz, Vice revealed that he still wants to achieve many things in life. But with time being limited in the human world, he expressed his worries that he will not be able to do the things he wants.
“Madaming kulang! Habang tumatanda ka, nababawasan ka.
“Katulad na lang ng oras para mabuhay. Everyday, you lose a chance to live.
Apparently, this concern of his stemmed out during the time when he was working.
So pag-ihi ko, biglang nahinto. So parang may nakabara,” narrated Vice.
The pain that the comedian experienced was due to his previous kidney problem back in 2018. Vice was diagnosed with having kidney stones and underwent surgical procedures to remove them.
With this in mind, Vice suspected that there was something wrong with his body. And upon seeking medical attention, it was found out that his kidney is starting to form crystals or stones again.
Despite the comedian taking care of his body, avoiding salty food, and drinking lots of water, he discovered that he is a “stone former”, meaning, with his history of having kidney stones, there is a huge chance that it will return.
Vice is concerned about his health and is currently undergoing treatment, which makes him physically and emotionally unwell.
“Sabi nila may ganun talaga, stone former, crystal former.
Physically, I am not okay na naman. Yung ‘pag umatake yung sakit excruciating yung pain.”
Notwithstanding the fear of having his disease recur, Vice is not only trying to be brave but also acknowledges his weaknesses and fears.
And I acknowledge that.
Vice Ganda in February 2018 was absent for a week following his surgery to remove the kidney stones.
