Singer and Rise Artist Jayda Avanzado shared her plans for her acting career.
In the media announcement for her music video release for her single, M.U. (Malabong Usapan), Jayda said she wants to explore acting aside from singing.
“I see it as the next phase of my career. In the past few years, singer-songwriter po talaga ako. But this is a new kind of territory that I’d like to explore.”
She added, “I’d like to think that I’d grown a lot since then. Dun mo makikita siguro yung full circle moment and syempre patuloy pa rin akong nag-grow as an artist.”
As for actors, Jayda said she wants to work with LizQuen while revealing that she’s a fan of the love team.
“In terms of people I’d love to work with, honestly, isa sa mga pinaka paborito kong love team ang LizQuen. I’ve always admired Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.”
She also revealed that she wants to work with the veteran actor Aga Muhlach.
“In terms of veteran actors, I would love to work with Aga Muhlach. Nung bata ako, kala ko talaga, for some reason nung nakita ko sa TV si Aga Muhlach akala ko sya yung tatay ko, kasi medyo hawig sila ng tatay ko.”
Jayda also felt thankful that she’s a part of ABS-CBN, noting how they take care of their artists.
“It’s just a privilege na to be under a Management that fully believes in you and who wants to lift you up. And I really see that with ABS-CBN.
“Inaalagaan nila at prinoprotektahan nila ang bawat artista nila, I’m so thankful that I get to be a part of this.”
Jayda released her latest single featuring Francine Diaz about self-empowerment, M.U. (Malabong Usapan).
Jayda will also have her first major online concert this June 26 on KTX.ph, iWanTTFC, and TFC IPTV with reruns on June 27. Tickets are available on the said platforms for only P499.
