Megastar Sharon Cuneta slammed a netizen who called her ‘plastic’ over her post about President Noynoy’s passing.
The former President, commonly known as PNoy (President Noynoy), passed away at the age of 61 on Thursday, June 24, which shocked the whole nation.
Cuneta offered her condolences to the Aquino family through her Instagram post.
“Rest well in God’s loving arms, PNoy…Gone too soon,” she wrote in the caption.
The 55-year-old singer-host even tagged PNoy’s sister Kris Aquino on her post.
Although Cuneta simply wanted to mourn the death of President Noynoy, one netizen noted that the singer-host is plastic for dedicating a post for Noynoy then posting about dog rescues and dedicating a post about Noynoy again.
“Isa ka pa …nag post ka ng pakikiramay kanina then nag POST ka ng iba (sorry, ciempre love for dogs are never easy) I TRUSTED YOU!!!
“Plastic ka pala… nung naramdaman mo ung overwhelming love kay noynoy bigla ka ng POST ng Ganito???” the netizen commented.

Cuneta did not let the comment pass as she explained that she did not know about PNoy’s passing before she posted about dog rescues.
“HINDI KO PA ALAM NA NAMATAY SI PNOY. NUNG NAGPOST AKO ABOUT THE DOG RESCUE, OKAY? Nasa Amerika ako mag-isip ka muna di judgmental agad. Daming masama talaga ugali sa Pilipinas kaya hirap umusad eh,” said Cuneta.
Cuneta’s first post about PNoy can be seen as edited so it is possible that after she posted about mourning PNoy’s death, she also went back and edited the first post.
This is not the first time that the Megastar clapped back at her bashers.
She previously responded to them after being bashed about her tequila body shot scene with Marco Gumabao for their upcoming movie Revirginized.
