SB19 member Josh Cullen Santos finally addressed comments from netizens who are making fun of his height and comparing him to other members of the P-pop group.
Santos expressed his sentiments via a series of posts on his Twitter account.
He decided to finally speak up about the issue because he wants to educate share the side of victims like him. Santos reminded the netizens that making fun of people because of their physical attributes is not cool at all.
Ngayon lang ako magsasalita about dito.

The SB19 member got fed up because of the below-the-belt jokes poked against him because of his height.

Santos then admitted that he is not that tall, but he is working hard to build his body to achieve ideal features. He reiterated that he is not that sensitive, but these height-shaming jokes are just too much.
— JOSH CULLEN (@JoshCullen_s) June 23, 2021
He also admitted that he even approached his fellow members to discuss the issue. Santos added that he also makes jokes but assures that these have limitations. He also said that his height does not reflect his talent and contribution.
— JOSH CULLEN (@JoshCullen_s) June 23, 2021
He then again appealed to people to stop height-shaming.
Minsan yung mindset/paniniwala niyo na yung lumoloko sa inyo na pag nakita niyo ko in person mapapasigaw na "ang tangkad mo pala sa personal" stop it.

Seriously, people should stop this kind of mindset. It is never cool to shame someone just because of something that was not his fault in the first place. At isa pa normal naman 'to.

..you for opening up kuya Josh kasi madami po talagang insensitive na tao na di na nila alam limit nila. Tho it's a joke, let's know our limits din. Let this be a lesson for all of us. Let's think twice before we do something. @SB19Official #SB19
