Using the latest rating data from AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey, Amazing Earth scored 16.4% rating on Sunday, June 13, 7.8% higher than its previous week’s (June 6) rating of 8.6%.
Time slot change could be the biggest factor for the rating surge since the new timeslot covers primetime.
From its previous 5:20 PM timeslot it was moved to 7:40 PM just before Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, replacing the just concluded singing reality show Centerstage.
Amazing Earth’s change in schedule coincides with the celebration of its third anniversary.
And for the anniversary offering, Amazing Earth featured wildlife stories from the BBC nature documentary Seven Worlds, One Planet, as presented by renowned narrator David Attenborough and filmed across seven continents in 41 countries.
It also featured Dingdong Dantes’s exclusive interview with Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto at the Pasig City Rainforest Park.
It also had a feature on Bohol’s mysterious Tambuko cave and underwater lagoon.
