Rafael Rosell’s new character will set off a rift between fake faith healer Deborah (Eula Valdes) and mayor Simon (Nonie Buencamino) in “Huwag Kang Mangamba,” which airs weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5.
As Deborah continues with the construction of her healing dome in Hermoso, she attempts to get help from Diego’s (Rafael) flourishing construction business. However, Diego reveals to her that Tomas (Dominic Ochoa), mayor Simon’s trusted aide, has also approached him to ask for donation for the rebuilding of the church in Hermoso, a project spearheaded by Deborah’s rivals, Mira and Joy (Andrea Brillantes and Francine Diaz).
Because of this, Deborah will feel betrayed by mayor Simon and will decide to go against him, not knowing that Tomas acted on his own and is secretly helping Mira and Joy. Deborah goes to great lengths to get back at mayor Simon and will attempt to manipulate his grandson Miguel (RK Bagatsing) into betraying his own grandfather.
Unknown to both Deborah and mayor Simon, Diego is Miguel’s long-time secret lover and the two men have been hiding their relationship from everyone.
How will the recent developments in Miguel’s personal life affect his mayoral campaign? Will Deborah succeed in going against mayor Simon?
