She greeted Cruz, a belated happy birthday, “Belated happy birthday @johnlloydcruz83.”
The actor celebrated his birthday on Thursday, June 24.
Despite wearing a facemask, Katrina seemed to be all smiles when she was with Elias, son of Lloydie.
In a picture, John Lloyd is comfortably sitting on the floor while smiling; and Halili sitting cross-legged across the actor.
Despite relationship rumors, Halili did not hesitate to post her greetings for the actor, knowing that it might cause another reason for netizens to feast on.

Cruz and Halili did not come from the same circle of friends, which made netizens pushed the narrative that the two do have a mutual understanding outside friendship.
The issue started when a YouTube video went viral sometime in April, which was uploaded by a certain Stephen Casuyon. It showed both celebrities enjoying a swim in El Nido’s pristine waters.
The Halili-Cruz controversy followed up with photographs that surfaced online. Both were together in Batangas.
Right after sharing the birthday greeting post on her social media account, mixed reactions came out and linked the two celebrities together.
With the buzz it created, Cruz and Halili have not given their comments.
