In a Zoom press conference for All Out Sunday’s celebration for the 71st anniversary of the GMA Network, Julie Anne San Jose was not able to dodge not being asked regarding her former issue with Alden Richards.
The actress was asked if she still feels some hesitation or fear regarding her fans’ reaction when she is with Alden performing on the stage.
“Okay po kaming dalawa. We are good. Okay po kami sa All-Out Sundays even when we see each other, nakakapag-hi, nakakapag-hello. Nagkakaroon naman ng usap-usap here and there.
“I just want to clear it out na wala naman po talagang issue between us. I mean, ako, wala pong kaso sa akin at all. At the end of the day, I’m just doing my job. Okay naman po kaming dalawa. I’m in good terms with him.
“At saka ’yung mga issues before, parang ibaon na natin sa limot ’yun kasi, 2021 na. And that’s not what we need right now. All we need right now is to help each other. Especially ngayong pandemic na ito, ang dami ng nangyayari sa mundo. So, why focus on the negative ones?
“Wala kaming tension between us,” the actress confidently shares.
A few years ago, Julie Anne and Alden were romantically linked even before ‘AlDub’ or ‘Alden and Yaya Dub’ tandem was a thing. But the partnership of the two did not quite create a spark.
With the two always being together in front of act performances for All-Out Sundays, they might rekindle the old feelings and start again.
Watch out for the grand and spectacular performances by All-Out Sundays as they commemorate the 71st Anniversary of the GMA Network this weekend.
