In her interview for the second season of Ajinamoto’s Eat Well, Live Well, Stay Well, Iya Villania-Arellano said, “I’m very happy with this career path. I’m very, very happy.
“And, it led me to this. And, I love it. I really feel so lucky and so blessed to be here. And to still be enjoying what I am doing.”
Villania also admitted that when she entered showbiz, she wanted to be a singer and a dancer.
“And, it’s funny because when I entered the industry, I never intended for it to be a career of mine. I really wanted to be a singer and a dancer.
“But sabi ni Lord, hindi yan para sa’yo.”
As for acting, Villania said she’s open to what the future will present her.
“Yeah, I mean, I still would when given the opportunity. When given the right opportunity, yeah, it’s definitely something I would still do.”
During her days in ABS-CBN, Villania was a VJ on Myx. She would also showcase her singing and dancing talent on the ASAP Natin ‘To stage.
As for acting, she appeared on several Kapamilya productions such as La Vendetta, Apoy sa Dagat, and Kristine.
During her stay with GMA Network, her career as a lifestyle host sky-rocketed after viewers saw her potential in the said genre.
Villania hosts Ajinamoto’s Eat Well, Live Well, Stay Well with celebrity chef Jose Sarasola. They will air their second season for the lifestyle program on July 2 on GMA Network.
