iDolls members Lucas Garcia, Matty Juniosa, and Enzo Almario recalled their experience in “Your Face Sounds Familiar” Season 3.
In an interview, Lucas, Matty, and Enzo each shared the memorable moments and changes they encountered during their stint in ABS-CBN’s celebrity impersonation competition.
Lucas recalled how the veteran celebrities in YFSF’s latest season made their group feel like a family.
“Kami yung Junior, so intimidated kami nung unang araw ng Your Face Sounds Familiar.
Enzo shared how ABS-CBN’s celebrity impersonation contest brought out their hidden talents.
As for Matty, he recalled how the 12-week competition helped them make their mark as artists.
“Basta ang dami pong nangyari throughout the 12 weeks ng Your Face pero, nahanap namin kung ano yung expertise namin, nahanap namin yung lugar namin sa grupo. And, nahanap namin yung lugar ng grupo sa industry.
“And isa yun sa mga ni-reveal ng Your Face kasi prior to that, let’s be honest, we were always the grown-up TNT boys. But now, we’re the iDolls because of that show, sobrang thankful kami.”
The iDolls formed in 2019 during the launch of ABS-CBN’s Philippine Idol, in which Lucas, Enzo, and Matty competed. They landed the 4th spot in the recently concluded Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 3.
The group performed the theme song “Hinog na ang Mundo” for Boys Love movie-turned-teleserye, The Boy Foretold By The Stars: The Series. They also teased their upcoming gay empowerment song under Star Music and Star Pop.
