Awra Briguela reveals why he chose to be silent on social media following his issues and controversies earlier in 2020.
To recall–the 18-year-old star made the headlines for his clash with influencer Buknoy Glamurrr on Twitter.
The two had a sharp and sarcastic exchange of words when Awra called out Buknoy for demeaning a passing tricycle driver in one of his vlogs and for violating pandemic protocols.
In the YouTube vlog of Aiko Melendez, where Awra was her guest, the young teenage star explained that he chose to be silent because he did not want the problem to escalate anymore.
Awra said that even if most of the netizens support him, he realized that what he did was still wrong.
“I felt like I was superior. I feel like a lot of people ay nag a-agree sa akin. That’s why I am not scared to post kahit anong i-post ko.
“I realized na parang mali na ‘to. Lumalaki ‘yung apoy na walang pinatutunguhan,” he said.
Awra and Buknoy also had a social media clash when the latter claimed that Awra tried to ruin his reputation.
The issues between them seemed to have died out as Awra has chosen to be silent on social media.
Awra expressed his gratitude to his family and Vice Ganda for reminding him to be kind and forgiving during these situations.
