During the virtual media conference for teleserye La Vida Lena, the female lead star, Erich Gonzales admitted that she still gets to communicate with the Thai actor Mario Maurer.
“Kakakausap ko lang sa kanya kanina, nagkamustahan kami.”
Gonzales added that she’s open to doing a project with the Thai actor, adding that Maurer is her good friend.
“I don’t know pero syempre open tayo di ba? Mario is a good friend. And, nakakatuwa lang na kahit na matagal na kaming nagka-trabaho sa aming movie na ginawa sa Thailand and dito, nandoon pa rin ‘yung communication, ‘yung friendship. Hindi s’ya nawawala. So ayun game tayo d’yan. Game tayo for anything.”
Gonzales and Maurer top-billed Suddenly It’s Magic in 2012 alongside Kakai Bautista.
Earlier, Maurer’s agency sent a demand letter to Bautista, demanding that she must stop referencing Mario Maurer’s name. They claimed that Maurer lost projects because of being romantically linked with Bautista.
As for Gonzales, she stars in ABS-CBN’s new revenge-serye, La Vida Lena. She stars alongside three equally gorgeous and talented leading men Carlo Aquino, Kit Thompson, and JC De Vera.
The series directed by Jerry Lopez-Sineneng, Jojo Saguin, and Andoy Ranay. It has a powerhouse cast of supporting actors including, Janice De Belen, Agot Isidro, Raymond Bagatsing, Christian Vasquez, Pen Medina, Ruby Ruiz, Soliman Cruz, Malou Crisologo, Josh Ivan Morales, Danica Ontengco, Renshi De Guzman, and Hasna Cabral.
La Vida Lena originally streamed on iWant TFC in November of 2020. However, the production promises more dramatic scenes with the airing of the series on the Kapamilya Channel on June 28.
