Following reports that Kapamilya star Ejay Falcon would be switching to GMA Network, Ejay Falcon finally spoken out on the rumored transfer.
In an interview with Pika Pika, Falcon stated unequivocally that there was a conversation between GMA Network, but no final decision was made.
“May napag-uusapan po, pero wala pa naman final na usap,” Ejay Falcon said directly.
When asked if he is willing to switch to GMA Network, the actor stated that he is willing as long as his home network, ABS CBN gives him the blessing.
“Bilang actor, s’yempre open naman po ako to work with anyone. Basta naman po may basbas ng aking home network o ng Star Magic,” he said.
The actor also claimed that there is a show that has been discussed, but he chose not to tell what it is because no final decision was made.
“’Yung show po sa GMA, hindi ko po masagot kasi, nasa pag-uusap pa,” He said.
Recently, Ejay Falcon discusses his anxiety as a result of the ABS-CBN shutdown, Ejay was one of those who suffered significantly as a result of the shutdown.
The actor acknowledged having anxiety attacks due to the continuing coronavirus outbreak and the unrenewed franchise of ABS CBN.
“Nakapag-adjust na siguro dun sa daily routine na nasa bahay ka, ganyan, pero ‘yung nakapag-adjust na nakasara ‘yung ABS-CBN siyempre mahirap.
“Hindi ko naman yata makakasanayan ‘yon, ‘yung pagkawala ng TV network namin kasi hanapbuhay ko ‘yun at ng marami pang mga Kapamilya stars.” Ejay revealed.
Falcon also revealed that he used the money he has saved from previous projects to support his family, as all projects have been put on hold due to the lockdown.
“Ginagamit ko muna ‘yung naipon sa mga nakaraang projects ko. Tipid-tipid muna siyempre. Pero so far natutustusan ko pa naman kung ano mga pangangailangan nila,” Ejay said.
As of now, if ever the actor has sealed the deal with GMA Network, he is already beyond thankful and grateful, “Pero sobrang thankful po ako kung sakali na nagtitiwala sila sa akin na makagawa rin po ako sa kanila.”
When Ejay Falcon entered the reality game show Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus in 2008, he became famous and was ultimately dubbed the batch’s Big Winner.
Falcon went on to star in many ABS-CBN dramas after his great triumph, including That’s My Doc (his first acting role), Habang May Buhay, May Bukas Pa, Pasion de Amor, The Promise of Forever, The Blood Sisters, and Sandugo, which finished on March 20, just in time for the Luzon-wide lockdown.
