He said that he is very proud of Maymay’s achievements.
“I am so proud. I am really proud that she is doing that. Napag-usapan din namin, the two of us before, the meaning of the song and how she really wanted it. Super hands-on din siya sa music video and the dance, even the ‘yung pagbuo ng kanta, the way that she wanted it,” shared the young male star.
Barber is proud of how Maymay is letting her creative side flourish in the industry and finding her path in the field of artistry.
“She is finding her own path. I will be supporting her; I will say from a distance kasi hindi lagi ako yung kasama niya sa stage at I am okay with that because I can’t dance the way that she dances. Pero it’s always great to see her and I am so proud of her.
“Super successful ‘yung music video. Super successful yung kanta at sure ako na mas magiging successful ang career niya in performing arts,” he said.
Barber will venture on a new journey in hosting as he will be the host for the newest and freshest music show on MYX and TFC titled Fresh Take.
