Pinoy Big Brother Connect alumnus Amanda Zamora revealed that she auditioned for The Voice, Star Magic, and PBB: Otso before getting in PBB: Connect.
In an interview, Amanda said her reason for joining was she always wanted to become an actress.
“Since dati ko pa gusto mag-artista, nag-audition ako sa PBB: Otso, and nag-audition po ako sa The Voice, nag ca-cast din po ako sa Star Magic pero never ako nakuha.”
Zamora then recalled how she won the KUMU contest that gave her the PBB: Connect spot.
“Kasi sobrang stress din po yung auditions, as in umiiyak ako lagi kasi sobrang competitive yung parents ko compared sa akin.
“If there was one moment na super memorable, syempre yung nanalo. I remember that day, talaga. Madaming Christmas sa bahay tapos yun po yung final live po. Tapos when I won, tapos super talon talaga. Everything happened so fast mula ng day na yun.”
She then revealed her audition piece for the KUMU Contest.
“Sinayaw ko lang po yung theme song nung Otso po. Sobrang mema lang po nung sayaw. Sobrang funny talaga.”
After winning the KUMU contest, Zamora joined the PBB house as one of the additional housemates of PBB: Connect. The reality TV show dubbed her the Unique-A Hija Darling ng San Juan. And, for those who don’t know, she is the only daughter of San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora.
Now, she is currently working on her craft under the tutelage of Director Rahyan Carlos of Star Magic and keeps her active social media presence through her KUMU streams.
