Award-winning actress Alessandra de Rossi slammed those ‘keyboard warriors’ or ‘online trolls.’
The best definition of such is from an article, The Keyboard Warrior Versus the Troll, that said, “Trolls and keyboard warriors lurk in the dark places, of the comment section, ready to pounce upon all comers and bring disunity and disorder to the great establishment of the Internet.”
In her tweet, De Rossi called out trolls who are happily spreading negativity on social media.
According to her, these trolls act as if they own the Internet space and that whenever one would say something that they disagree they would want the person who opposes them to be out of the online world.
“Ang toxic ng social media. Nakakamiss ang outside [world] kung saan natatakot magsabi ng nega sa personal ang isang taong di ka kilala at baka makuyog ng barangay (laughing emojis) makalayas na nga. Mema/nega: wag ka nang babalik! Di ka namin kailangan. Me: ikaw owner ng internet? Char!”

Meanwhile, as a response to a Netizen, who said that these trolls are only brave online because they get paid, de Rossi said even those who non-paid keyboard warriors are also loud and boastful on the Internet but are mostly silent in person.

She also added that she knew many people who are very outspoken on twitter (mostly arrogant), but are timid in the real world.
She then wondered which one is their real character. However, she said that she’s sure she doesn’t prefer their social media persona.
