Comedienne-singer K Brosas believes that she does not owe anything to the Government after being vaccinated since she is a taxpayer.
Brosas recently shared a photo of her getting jabbed with the COVID-19 vaccine.
She gladly announced that she just received the first dose of Sinovac vaccine.
However, a Netizen provoked her by asking if she will not thank President Duterte after being vaccinated.
She slammed the netizen and pointed out that she owed the vaccine to herself because she is a taxpayer, not the Government.
“Salamat at nagbabayad ako ng tax ko, so thanks to myself.”
Brosas then encouraged everyone to get vaccinated since it is free, as it should be.
“Wish ko sana all may vaccine na, bow. Kung wala pa kayo mag tanong sa dapat tanungin kasi libre ito.”

Brosas is one of the celebrities who are strong critics of the Government’s shortcomings. In previous issues involving the Government, she firmly expressed her disappointment via posts or comments.
Last year, she also slammed a basher who said that celebrities or performers are just entertainers and their personal opinions do not matter.
It is like telling that celebrities have no right to criticize the Government and express their insights about different things.
Brosas believes that they have the right to demand from the Government because they are also paying their taxes.

Celebrities earn high because of their projects plus endorsements but, they are also obliged to pay income taxes like other ordinary Filipino citizens.
