Radio host and columnist Cristy Fermin showed love to Maine Mendoza, defending her relationship with actor Arjo Atayde.
Cristy Fermin interviewed actress Slyvia Sanchez in her radio show, “Cristy Fer Minute”, Thursday (June 10). There they talked about the relationship of Sanchez’s son, Arjo Atayde, and actress Maine Mendoza.
Fermin then expressed her concern about the bashing that Sanchez received when her son and Mendoza revealed their relationship.
The actress recalled that bashers would even accuse them of riding Mendoza’s fame.
“Ang bash sakin pag interview about Arjo and Maine, ginagamit namin si Maine para sumikat kami,” Sanchez said.
And the radio host, who targeted Mendoza for years, revealed in her answer that she too, roots for the couple’s relationship.
Fermin previously resented Mendoza after she and actor Alden Richards broke up. The radio host had numerous articles and topics in her show that would describe how she felt about the breakup. It is quite understandable given that the radio host and Richards were very close.
However, when Mendoza and Atayde began dating, Fermin stopped her attacks on the actress and finally started appreciating the actress.
