Actress and first-time host Yassi Pressman revealed that she considered landing her iconic role of Alyana in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as the jackpot of her career.
In the virtual conference for the TV5 game show, Rolling In It, Pressman recalled how she landed the role of Alyana right after her stay in the Pinoy Big Brother house.
“Landing a role in Probinsyano, when sila Sir Deo decided to give me a chance na I was so new, lang din po, just finished PBB.”
“And, tinawagan ako and hindi ako makapaniwala by that time. I was like, okay, I’m so excited to be here. Ano pong role, ano pong gagawin natin. And, I thought it was just an another role na pandagdag sa cast.”
Then, Pressman added, “tapos nung sinabi po nila na tignan natin baka pwede talagang leading lady, I was just so surprised, and for me napakalaking Jackpot po yun.”
Pressman also expressed her interest in having her FPJ Ang Probinsyano family in her game show.
“I would love to have my family from Ang Probinsyano to be here, if they could guest. Ang alam ko po may mahaba po silang lock-in ngayon baka tapos na po yung show namin nandun pa po sila. Pero maybe after, sana po.”
With her interest in having FPJAP celebs in the game show, Pressman also revealed receiving help from the Kapamilya host, Robi Domingo.
“Si Robi, and then he called me, binigyan nya pa ako ng napakaraming mga pointers. And he said, “just go Yas, be yourself, just have fun.”
The former FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano leading lady takes on the Philippine adaptation of the British game show, Rolling In It.
In the game, contestants will play a large-scale coin arcade game with their celebrity partners for the chance to win up to Php 2 000 000.
The game show premieres this June 5, 2021, on TV5 with catch-up episodes on Cignal TV Channel 3 and SatLite Channel 30 the next day.
