Megastar Sharon Cuneta speaks up about the circulating rumors that her husband, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan physically abused her.
On May 11, Cuneta flew to Los Angeles, California where she opted to temporarily stay.
Though it is hard for her to leave her family behind, according to her, she needed the vacation to breathe, collect herself, and gain back strength.

However, this vacation of Cuneta was taken maliciously by some netizens.
They suspected that she flew to the US because her senator-husband Pangilinan hit her and she is now in a relationship with a younger man.
Regarding the rumors, that she has an affair with a younger man, she quipped that it will only be possible if they are referring to the Korean stars Ji Chang Wook at Cha Eun Woo.
Cuneta then denied these rumors about her and her husband.
In Cristy Fermin’s article, the Megastar replied, “Ang OA naman ng istorya!
“Bago pa ako madapuan ng kamay ng kahit sinong lalaki, e, siguradong may nangyari na sa kanya!”
Her father, former Pasay City Mayor Pablo Cuneta, advised her before to immediately leave her husband once she will be physically hurt.
“Mula kay Gabby, awa naman ng Diyos, wala akong nakilalang nanakit sa akin!”
Sen. Kiko and Sharon celebrated their silver wedding anniversary on April 28.
