Award-winning actress Sunshine Dizon reacted to her transfer to ABS-CBN, adding that she heard good things about the Kapamilya network.
In her interview for Marry Me Marry You, Dizon said she got good feedback from her friends who worked with the Kapamilya network and Dreamscape.
“I have good friends naman in the industry who worked for the Kapamilya, and I’ve always heard good things about working for Dreamscape and sir Deo (Endrinal).”
“Parang nagulat din ako na ang ganda nung offer, I’m very confident of the script. So sa akin parang work is work. And sa panahon ngayon, I think we should all be grateful and thankful that we are able to work,” Dizon emphasized the value of having work amid the pandemic.
As for her future with the Network, she looks forward to working on meaningful scripts.
“You know, as an actor kasi, you always want to push yourself. And at the end of the day, it’s really the story, eh. And, I look forward to doing more meaningful scripts, hopefully.”
As for her directorial talents, Dizon said she’s open to the opportunity to work behind the camera.
“And, if the time comes, na kunyari man eh palarin tayo na kunyari kunin ako ng Dreamscape na maging director, oh that would be the day. Salamat kung magkataon man.”
Dizon said she’s grateful for the opportunity, and she feels excited to work with the Kapamilya.
“It’s a new season in my life, in my career, and I’m very grateful and excited to be given this opportunity to work for Kapamilya naman ngayon.”
Earlier, Dizon and manager Perry Lansigan hinted at her Kapamilya transfer on Instagram.
Now the award-winning actress joins the cast of Marry Me Marry You, which will start taping this May.
Paulo Avelino and Janine Gutierrez topbill the lead roles for the teleserye. The series will also serve as Jake Ejercito’s first teleserye on ABS-CBN.
Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment and directed by Jojo Saguin and Dwein Ruedas Baltazar, the series also packs a stellar cast, including Cherry Pie Picache, Vina Morales, Teresa Loyzaga, Lito Pimentel, Joko Diaz, Jett Pangan, and Edu Manzano.
