Kapamilya news anchor Kim Atienza made a witty clap back to a basher by giving trivia.
Rather than engaging a Netizen in a word war, Kuya Kim lectured his basher with trivia about the word “tanga.”
A certain @beenthought0328 slammed Kuya Kim regarding his post about the first anniversary of the ABS-CBN shutdown.
The Netizen called Kuya Kim “tanga” and pretending to be blind.
In response, Kuya Kim schooled the Netizen on the origin of the word “tanga.”
According to Kuya Kim, the word originated from the Polynesian word “Tana” which means “to open your mouth or gape in stupidity.”
Alam niyo ba na ang salitang tanga ay galing sa polynesian word na "Tana" or to open your mouth or gape in stupidity. Pag tinawag kang tanga, dapat nakabukas ang bibig. #kuyakimtrivia https://t.co/cXiVBQkliz
