Kapamilya broadcast journalists Karen Davila and Kim Atienza joined in commenting on GMA Public Affairs’ facebook posts.
On GMA Public Affairs’ official facebook page, a poll asked what ideal ingredient to put in a famous Filipino dish, Tinola ingredient–is it a Papaya (Carica) or Sayote (Pear Squash)?
People have different preferences on what to add to the said dish so, any of the two is okay.
Surprisingly, ABS-CBN broadcast journalist Davila joined the poll, and she preferred Sayote.
In another post by the official facebook page of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, TV Patrol weather anchor Kim also commented.
The post by KMJS featured a comment from a netizen pointing out how fragile women’s feelings are.
With this, Atienza commented on the post via trivia.
“Alam niyo ba na ang puso ng babae ay may bigat na 230 grams lamang, mas magaan sa puso ng lalaki na 280 grams. Kahit mas maliit, mas matindi ito magmahahal at magsakripisyo para sa pamilya.”
Kim is known for randomly sharing interesting facts and trivia during his TV Patrol segment and as one of It’s Showtime hosts.
Despite working in rival networks, Kapamilya and Kapuso journalists remained in good relationships with each other.
There should be no issue about it, however, due to Davila’s comment, fans speculated that she will be moving to GMA Network.
She then clarified that she just answered the poll because she loves Tinola and denied that she will be leaving ABS-CBN.
Davila and Atienza work together in ABS-CBN’s flagship news program, TV Patrol.
