Maja Salvador’s Crown Artist Management Incorporated announced the official signing of John Lloyd Cruz with the upstart talent management arm.
Earlier through an Instagram post, Crown Artist Management hinted at Cruz’s comeback through a larger-than-life teaser with the #TheCAMbackisreal.
John Lloyd had plans for his comeback during 2020 after he went through a lengthy hiatus from showbiz. However, the COVID-19 pandemic halted his long-awaited return to the spotlight.
Before his absence from the entertainment circuit, Cruz had multiple awards under his belt.
He won several awards for Best Actor from FAMAS, FAP Awards, Gawad Urian Awards, Golden Screen Awards, and Star Awards. He also won a Dekada Award from Star Awards for his acting career from 2003 to 2013.
He starred on multiple movie projects that landed him both the multi-awarded actor and leading man status he had before his break from show business.

Cruz also boasts of several award-winning blockbuster films, including Miss You Like Crazy, All About Love, The Mistress, Honor Thy Father, It Takes A Man and A Woman, In My Life, and One More Chance.
He was last seen via a 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, a cameo role in Culion, as Meryll Soriano‘s long-lost lover in the Ricky Lee penned screenplay.
His move to join Crown Artist Management comes as no surprise, especially since Maja and John Lloyd started their acting careers under the same ABS-CBN management arm, Star Magic.
