ABS-CBN’s longest-time running action-drama series, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, broke the record for having the most concurrent viewers on the streaming platform–Youtube.
After breaking its own record twice, in the past seven days, Coco Martin-starrer FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano finally reclaimed the crown for having the greatest number of concurrent viewers, by a Filipino non-news program, on Youtube.
Last night, May 10, the program’s live viewers’ count breached the 114,000 mark–erasing the record set by fellow Kapamilya program PBB Connect during its Big Night on March 14, 2021.
The said episode peaked at 110,000+ viewers.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano previously held the record before it got crushed by PBB Connect’s historic Big Night, which also posted record-breaking numbers on other platforms, like Kumu and facebook.
The record-breaking FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano episode featured Cardo Dalisay’s (Coco Martin) latest encounter with the Black Ops.
In the said episode, the Black Ops pursued Dalisay, as he holds Lia (Jane de Leon) as a hostage. The Black Ops and Dalisay relentlessly exchanged shots as the latter struggled to navigate his way through the forest, away from the elite police unit.
Lia, whom he never let go of, tried to convince her captor to surrender, as her comrades have already outnumbered him.
The episode was already viral as Netizens, once again poked fun at Cardo Dalisay’s seemingly ‘immortal’ nature. Viewers specifically wondered why the character didn’t seem to run out of bullets after exchanging fire with the Black Ops. Many members of the elite group were single-handedly shot down by Dalisay.

Viewers were seemingly glued to their devices, for the said episode, as reflected by the record-breaking numbers set by the show.
There is a great possibility that this trend will continue as events in the five-year-old primetime drama is set to get even more intense in the next episodes. Avid followers of the show across many platforms will tune in to the show, as Dalisay carries on with his plans to avenge Alyana’s death.
Likewise, the events at the Palace, where Hipolito currently reigns, will continue to excite viewers. Will Aling Virgie finally succeed at booting out the members of the Task Force Aguila from their place? Viewers may likely wait for a while.
