FJP’s Ang Probinsyano is slowly inching to the top of the rating leaderboard as it retained its Top 4 ranking bumping off Kapuso teledrama Owe My Love.
Based on the latest rating numbers from AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey, FPJAP has maintained its number 4 spot for the week of May 10 to 13 overtaking former Top 4 Owe My Love.
During the survey week, FPJAP scored an average of 10.4% rating with its highest 10.6% recorded on Thursday, May 13. It was also the highest rating ever for the Coco Martin-led teleserye after the ABS-CBN shutdown.
From Monday to Wednesday (May 10 to 12) meanwhile, the Kapamilya long-running action drama teleserye scored 10.2%, 10.2%, and 10.4% respectively.
FPJAP’s first trip to the number 4 spot was recorded on Thursday, May 6 as it scored 10.0% ratings.
FPJAP’s strong ratings can be attributed to its current action-packed episodes.
The show’s highest rating ever on Thursday, May 13 featured the episode where Cardo together with Lia continues to run away from the authorities particularly the Black Ops. It also showcased the intense firefight between Lito’s group and the American drug dealers who set them up and rob them of their merchandise resulting in the death of Lito’s partners, the group led by Lara (Bubbles Paraiso).
Meanwhile, aside from the positive rating, the Kapamilya teleserye is also successful in raking online views. The Thursday episode has reached more than 3.09 million views a big gap from its rival First Yaya which only accumulated more than 44 thousand views on Youtube.
