Dingdong Dantes took an interesting take on how actors like himself can help others amid the pandemic.
“Definitely. The lines now are blurred. Ngayon, naghahalo na ang duties and responsibilities,” said the Kapuso Primetime King in The Howie Severino Podcast’s latest episode.
The actor pointed that it is only logical for people, during this pandemic, to help those in their inner circle first.
“And in the pursuit of doing more, we always have to keep in mind that we just want to help others.
“Syempre sino ang uunahin mong tulungan kundi yung mga nasa immediate circle mo which is within the industry,” said Dantes.
About his acceptance of numerous projects to help others, he explained that it is where he is comfortable doing. Although, he noted that he will not always put himself at risk.
“Masasabi ko d’yan, you can only give what you are comfortable giving.
“Hindi naman all the time eh parati mong ilalagay ang sarili mo at risk.”
With all the dangers that the pandemic presents, celebrities such as himself have to only give what they can, keeping themselves and their loved ones safe.
“Ibibigay mo lang yung kaya mong ibigay. You will not overpromise, you will not overcommit.
“Safety versus economy,” Dantes said.
