FYE Channel is bringing more celebrity news fix—both local and foreign—via new digital talk shows “Anything K,” “Anong Meron, Chikkaness?,” and Showbiz Café,” all premiering on Pinoy livestreaming app kumu this month.
“Anything K” will tackle Korean pop culture, K-drama, and other K-updates with TikTok star Kristy Cho (@kristypata), a Korean who grew up in the Philippines who now has almost 900,000 TikTok followers. Her fans, whom she fondly calls Patatas, will enjoy her live musings and updates as she helps them navigate the fascinating Korean culture.
Showbiz-savvy YouTuber Albert Bryan Abelido, popular for his Chikkaness Ave channel with almost 600,000 YouTube subscribers, is also launching his own FYE Channel program “Anong Meron, Chikkaness?.” The new show will have a weekly showbiz roundup, interviews, games, performances, and intriguing blind items that will surely challenge and excite kumunizens.
Meanwhile, “Showbiz Café” will be hosted by some of the country’s veteran entertainment journalists—Roldan Castro, Fernan de Guzman, Mildred Bacud, Rommel Placente, Melba Llanera, Joey Austria, and Boy Romero of the Philippine Movie Press Club, Inc. (PMPC). Together, they will talk about trending entertainment news and events, tackle juicy blind items, and converse with today’s top celebrities on the hot seat.
FYE is one of the ABS-CBN channels available on the growing Pinoy community platform kumu. It features daily livestreams on lifestyle, sports, current affairs, and entertainment from well-loved Kapamilya streamers.
