John Lloyd Cruz felt upset about the delay of his long-overdue reunion project with love team Bea Alonzo. The said project of Cruz and Alonzo got slated long ago, but due to the actor’s hiatus from showbiz, the said project got delayed.
Now that he is back through Maja Salvador’s Crown Artist Management,
Due to what happened to the proposed movie, he may be displeased with Star Cinema.
“Maybe now is not the right time kasi they don’t want to acknowledge yung ibang possibilities na bakit dalawang taon na hindi pa rin siya nangyayari. Maybe its time to acknowledge na baka pinipilit natin,” the actor thought.
Cruz pointed out the time he invested in waiting for the project, he does not want to spend more time waiting for nothing.
“Well two years, hindi pa ba sapat ‘yun para masabi mo na – kasi diba alam mo naman ang Star Cinema, alam mo naman ang nature na pag gusto nila, mangyari yung isang bagay nangyayari yun diba? Pero hindi siya nangyayari.
“I don’t want to second guess and two years is a long time. Pero kung hindi pa sapat yun, I don’t think I’m willing to go for three.”
He suggested that Star Cinema should once and for all clarify if they will or will not pursue the project, so he can already move on.
“Dahil feeling ko na-stuck na kami ‘dun and two years na siya, hindi na nakakatuwa. Parang, are we deceiving the audience? Kasi if we are, hindi siya maganda.
“Not now, wag ngayon kasi ang hirap pag yung mga tao umaasa and then, di ba parang ang lakas makahila pababa.”
Inis na raw si Lloydie, SC. 🤣

Cruz suddenly went on an indefinite hiatus from showbiz in 2017 while his show Home Sweetie Home is still ongoing. The show ended with the sudden disappearance of Romeo, John Lloyd’s character.
Currently, during the pandemic, many projects were put on hold due to the closure of cinemas and restrictions in taping.
The absence of the actor from showbiz and the pandemic may have caused the delay of the loveteam’s comeback movie.
Meanwhile, Alonzo previously confirmed that their highly-anticipated reunion with Cruz will finally proceed this year. The love team will star in the film, No Goodbyes, and its director is Cathy Garcia-Molina.
The actor was also seen recently with Star Cinema executives, does it mean that the long-overdue project may finally push through?
