Comedian and “It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda have had her fair share of heartaches. But last 2019, after a year when she met Ion Perez, they finally admitted to the public that they are together.
The comedian met Ion back in 2018. Ion was the winner of Mr. Universe Tourism 2018 and he, with other winners, watched “Gandang Gabi Vice” which was hosted by the comedian. Vice’s co-host, Carlo Mendoza spotted Ion and invited him to sit beside the comedian. At that moment, they only had a brief encounter but fate had other plans.
On September 19 of the same year, Ion became Kuyang Escort on ABS-CBN’s noontime show “It’s Showtime” where Vice is the main host.
Ion was then called on stage to comfort a “Miss Q&A” contestant. And with his charming looks, he distracted Vice. The two became close friends after Ion became a regular at the show and the rest is history.
So, is Ion the one for Vice?
Apparently, during an event of Saridon, its ambassador, Vice Ganda, may have slipped her tongue.
When asked by the event’s host if Saridon removed Vice Ganda’s heartaches, the comedian admitted that the medicine not only cured her heartaches but also gave her a lifetime partner.
“Wala na! Parang may magandang dulot sa buhay ko ‘yung Saridon,” said Vice.
“Kaakibat ng partnership ko sa Saridon nagkaron ako ng lifetime partner,” she added, referring to her boyfriend Ion.
So does this mean Vice thinks that Ion is the one for her?
Vice Ganda is Saridon’s ambassador, a pain reliever. After Vice joined its team, Saridon’s brand awareness jumped to 40% in 2020. More than that, the medication’s net sales grew by 18% in the same year.
