Thankful for GMA Network’s trust, Kapuso star Sanya Lopez considered her two TV projects–First Yaya and Agimat ng Agila as blessings; she said during the media conference the action-packed fantasy series.
“Blessing po, wala po akong masasabi kung di, maraming maraming salamat po talaga sa tiwala na binibigay sa akin ng GMA Network, ng buong production, ng mga directors. Lahat, lahat po, writers at lahat po ng bumubuo. Siguro po ang maibibigay ko lang po talaga sa kanila, ay bigay ko yung best ko. Yun lang po yung magagawa ko para maibalik yung pasasalamat na yun para po sa kanila.”
Upon its release, First Yaya became one of GMA Network’s top-rating TV shows. The quality of Agimat ng Agila, GMA Network is giving the project full support.
She also expressed her gratitude to GMA Network for the trust and the opportunity given to her to work with seasoned actors–Gabby Concepcion and Senator Ramon Bong Revilla Jr.
“Masasabi ko lang po, sobrang thankful lang talaga ako na pinagkakatiwalaan nila ako. Kasi di ko nga rin po alam, syempre ang daming mga artista na nangangarap na maipartner sa kanila. Of course, ang masasabi ko lang talaga, thank you po, kasi isa po ako sa mga binibigyan ng chance na maka-partner sila at magagawa ko lang talaga ay paghusayan ko sa ginagawa ko.”
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, she felt blessed because of her projects. She also offered her sympathies to the losses caused by the COVID-19 virus.
“Syempre po, nung nangyari ang pandemic time na to, nalungkot din naman po talaga ako. At syempre ang daming mga nawala. Yung mga mahal natin sa buhay. Syempre isa na po riyan syempre si Direk Toto, pero yun nga po nakakalungkot of course pero naisip ko na lang na alam mo blessed din talaga ako no akalain mo yun na nasa ganitong mga nangyayari sa atin ay may maganda pa ring binibigay sa atin. Hindi ko po alam kung anong meron, pero thankful po ako sa mga blessings na narereceive ko po lagi.”
In Agimat ng Agila, Lopez is with a powerhouse cast Michele Dee, Allen Dizon, Elizabeth Oropesa, Edgar Allan Guzman, Miggs Cuaderno, Ian Ignacio, Roi Vinzon, and Sheryl Cruz.
Directed by Rico Gutierrez, the action-packed series will air on May 1, Labor Day.
