Comedienne Pokwang defended fellow artist Anne Curtis against the DDS propagandist’s attack.
As the country logs record-high cases for the past days, Anne expressed worry about the Government’s response to the pandemic. She then asked about the next plan of the Government to mitigate COVID-19.
“This is quite alarming. Especially knowing that not everyone can/has gotten tested, So what is the plan? What are the next steps?” she inquired.
“It would be nice to be given more light on what is to happen while waiting for vaccines to arrive.”
However, a propagandist went on attacking Anne for this sensible query.
Curtis slammed by Mark Lopez. He accused her of not being aware of the Government’s steps and plans amidst this global health crisis.
He also cursed Anne for asking such a question.
With this, Pokwang defended Anne from this DDS propagandist.
The comedienne said that Anne was merely inquiring about the plan so, she does not deserve those foul words.
Sir nagtanong lang po anong plan di po kailangan ang salitang TANGINA! Happy easter po… pagka buhay ni Hesus para tubusin tayo sa pagkakasala 🙏🏼 Amen… God bless you @annecurtissmith and your Family 🙏🏼❤️ #GodblessPhilippines https://t.co/A9eXhMIrWy

The propagandist just attacked Anne and did not answer her question.
He could’ve laid down the Government’s proofs of ‘concrete and working’ plans against the pandemic.
Anne already responded to this issue. She believes that people should know her entire statement and should not easily lash out change the meaning of her post.
For those who didn’t ever bother to read the second half of my tweet and have instead opted to lash out with harsh words.
GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU! Happy Easter everyone! https://t.co/d21f7dm6Bq

The existing protocols and efforts exerted, [if there’s any], are not effective and enough. The Government needs to improve its plans and focus on mitigating the pandemic, not politicizing.
Marikina Rep. Stella Quimbo believes that the reimplementation of ECQ in the NCR Bubble plus area will be useless unless the Department of Health will improve its strategies.

It has been a year into the pandemic but, it seemed everything is going back to zero. Since last year, healthcare workers are calling for mass testing. However, only people with symptoms are encouraged to test.
What about the asymptomatics, who can freely go around? Are they not potential ‘superspreaders’ of the virus, too? What is the plan for them?
With the spike of cases, the hospitals are also getting full and overwhelmed. In line with this, they plan to add beds but, what about the frontline health workers? Some of them are not even compensated based on their services rendered, considering the hazards existing.
As the reimplementation of ECQ, how will the government help those locked up in their homes, left with no income? They are stuck between dying due to COVID-19 or famine.
“What’s next? What’s the plan?”
