Actor Paulo Avelino shared his opinion about TV ratings and said that inspiring people is enough for him.
In the media conference for the final week of Walang Hanggang Paalam, Avelino said he doesn’t view TV ratings. He then added that entertaining and inspiring people is enough for him.
Then, Avelino said that he has difficulties in gauging TV ratings because ABS-CBN has several platforms.
“Medyo mahirap tantsahin ngayon for ratings dahil ang daming platforms eh.
He stressed that ABS-CBN focuses on providing free TV content despite losing their franchise, network, and free TV.
As for taping the series, Avelino admitted he felt homesick during the locked-in shoot. However, he thanked the cast as it helped him fend off depression.
“I’m really thankful for this cast.
Now that the series is in its final week, Avelino added that he doesn’t like saying goodbye and would rather say ‘see you on another day’.
“I never liked goodbyes ever. Siguro para sa akin, more than a goodbye, parang “see you on another day” or “see you tomorrow.” Ganon na lang siguro, whether it’s love or anything.”
