After the successful adaptation of South Korean’s, The World of Married, the award-winning British drama Doctor Foster will soon have its Filipino version. ABS-CBN recently announced its partnership with BBC Studios for the production of the series.
With this, the search for artists who will play as the wife and mistress is on. Many Netizens suggested names of actresses that fit the role, JC Santos himself, however, volunteered to play the ‘mistress.’
The deal between BBC Studios and ABS-CBN–marks the Philippines as the sixth international market to acquire Doctor Foster’s script. It followed suit with other countries like South Korea, France, Russia, Turkey, and India.
The mistress is a lady role but, if JC fits the ‘mold,’ why not? It will surely be a good twist.
