Kapuso actor Jason Abalos is a former Duterte supporter. But the tables have turned after he became a critic of the person he had once supported—President Rodrigo Duterte.
In a Twitter thread, Abalos hinted that a “leader” was dead for quite some time. However, the leader’s minions tried to hide it from the public.
The reason is that since the highest position is vacant, the second-in-command, in accordance with the hierarchy of power, should assume the position.
And that is what the allies of the leader were trying to prevent—a change of leader.

In his succeeding tweet, he continued that these allies of the “leader” also left its citizens to deal with the pandemic they are facing.
at hinayaan na lamang nila ang mga mamamayan na makipagsapalaran sa pandemyang kinakaharap nila.
Iyan po ang synopsis ng k-dramang “Kingdom” sa Netflix na pinapanood ko. Panoorin nyo rin. Maganda. Kakaiba ung mga zombie.

But where was Abalos’ tweet leading to?
Apparently, the actor was referring to the Netflix series, “Kingdom”, a 2019 South Korean political series with a mixture of horror.
The show tells the story of how the Crowned Prince Lee Chang (Ju Ji-hoon) unleashed a plague that turns people into zombies. He then picks a battle with the powerful Haewon Cho clan who is trying to destroy Chang’s dynasty.
“Kingdom” is set during Korea’s Joseon period, and focuses on political conspiracies during the said era.
Jason Abalos is currently working on GMA Network’s upcoming afternoon show, Las Hermanas with returning Kapuso Albert Martinez, Yasmien Kurdi, Thea Tolentino, and Faith Da Silva.
