Another love triangle story is set to conquer the GMA Network’s primetime.
Max Collins and Carla Abellana will be together for the first time in the Network’s newest drama series, with a working title, To Have and To Hold. Derek Ramsay was rumored to join together with two of the hottest and highly-acclaimed Kapuso actresses, though he’s not included in the network’s PR sent to LionhearTV.
The said series will revolve around the story of a married couple whose relationship was tested by betrayals and affairs.
In an interview, Ramsay revealed that his character for this series will be different from his previous roles. He will play a man who offered endless love to his partner but ended up being hurt.
“Parang sobrang bigat para sa lalaki ang teleserye na ‘to,” he said.
Usually, men are the ones who cheat in a relationship. But for this series, it is the other way around.
“Sa totoong buhay kasi, lagi na lang ang lalaki ang may kasalanan… ang babae ang nadedehado sa isang hiwalayan.
“Maraming nangyayari rin na ang lalaki ang hiniwalayan ng babae, ang pinagtaksilan ng babae at sobra silang nasaktan,” he said.
This will show that men also get hurt but they also know how to forgive.
“Gusto naming ipakita sa teleseryeng ito na ang lalaki rin ay nasasaktan at marunong ding mag-forgive.”
His last appearance on the GMA Network drama series, The Better Woman with his now ex-girlfriend Andrea Torres.
Collins, who gave birth last year, had a short appearance in the GMA Network series, Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday.
Abellana also top-billed the recently concluded drama series Love of My Life.
